The international conference  “Digitalization and financial awareness”, promoted by the Bank of Italy. and the Museum of Saving, will be held in Rome on the 3rd and 4th October.

The conference will be a unique opportunity for finance museums, academics, policy makers, media and the financial industry to debate on financial education’s challenges and priorities.

The first day, organized in collaboration with the International Federation of Finance Museums, will involve distinguished speakers from renowned Italian and international museums discussing the role of digitalization in learning processes and audience engagement, with a special focus on finance museums.

The mission of the IFFM is to provide a framework for greater collaboration among museums, facilitating the sharing of exhibits, the exchange of scholarship and scholarly resources, and the interchange of information and knowledge.

On the second day, leading academics and policy makers will meet to discuss the impact of digitalization on financial education and inclusion.

Previous editions were held in New York, Turin, Beijing, Mexico City, Vienna, Ottawa.

The initiative is part of the “Financial Education Month Programme” promoted by the National Committee for planning and coordination of financial education activities.
