On Saturday 16 December the Museum of Saving invites families and children to the “In the kitchen with For and Mica” workshop.
How many times do we throw away leftover food from the plate?
How much food do we waste every day in Italy and around the world?
What can we do to reduce food waste?
We will find out with For & Mica, the mascots of the Savings Museum, helping them to shop correctly, store food in the right way and learn to remember food expiry dates.
At the end we will see the sitcom “Senti un po'”, which will teach us in a fun way how to fight against food waste.
What will they learn?
To reflect on the extent of food waste and its consequences, and some useful strategies to avoid it.
