The Global Money Week 2024 (GMW) will be held from 18 to 24 March 2024 and will be coordinated for Italy by the Committee for the planning and coordination of financial education activities, of which the Ministry of Education and Merit is part.

“Protect your money, secure your future” is the theme of the twelfth edition, with the aim of underlining the importance of adopting a responsible and informed approach when using online financial services and tools.

For the occasion, the Museum of Saving is dedicating the online event to primary schools How much do desires cost? Mica the ant and the birthday present”, which will be held on Friday 22 March, at 11am.

This is an engaging interactive lesson led by a tutor from the Museum of Saving and Mica the ant, one of the Museum’s mascots: together with them, and with the support of animated videos, children will discover where coins come from, they will learn how important it is to save and how to do it to make your dreams come true and achieve your goals, whether small or large.

During this hour the children will have to complete a very important mission: help Mica buy a birthday present for her friend For!
