As part of the collaboration project between the Museum of Saving and MOIGE, the new series of meetings dedicated to parents will start in November.
In recent years, the interest and participation of youngsters in social, political and economic life have significantly decreased, weakening trust in institutions and weakening social cohesion. A mechanism that can sometimes lead to feelings of exclusion and disinterest towards the community and the public good.
However, the environmental, social and economic challenges of our time are enormous and require everyone to actively play their part.
In the fourth edition of this webinar series, we will reflect on how to contribute to forming a more equal and inclusive society, supporting the civic participation of the youngest.

Civic participation: a look at the new generations
Despite the fact that Gen Z has an innate natural propensity to communicate and share thoughts and ideas thanks to social media and technology, the active participation of young people in social and political life seems to be suffering a setback.
How do today’s youngsters perceive the community and the common good? How can we mobilize their civic responsibility?
Speakers:
- Elisabetta Scala, MOIGE Vice President
- Giovanna Paladino, Director and Curator of the Museum of Saving
- Fabio Introini, Professor of General Sociology in the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore: Presentation of the survey “Young People and Participation”
