The workshops will boost creativity and imagination, guiding children in making small artistic works with waste materials and experimenting several artistic techniques.

The workshops
THE MONEY COUNTING BOX
By using old cardboard boxes, we will design and build together a money counting box.
Children will cut and glue pieces of cardboard and will color them as they please. They will then be invited to recognize the various types of coins, playing with addition and subtraction.
THE WALLET
Children will be guided in making an original paper wallet.
They will use sheets of newspapers and magazines brought from home, which will be cut into stripes to weave together .
THE COIN PURSE
Children will learn how to pack a useful coin purse by recovering the old milk boxes in tetrapack.
They will have to cut tetrapak, to fold it and to decorate as they please with magazines clippings.
The necessary stationery is made available by the Museum.
Duration
Each lab will last about 2 hours.
