Science Weeks 2024 at MoS

Art meets economy

Thanks to Virtual Reality, live an immersive experience within ten different scenarios where works of art come to life explaining some key principles of economics and finance.

On the occasion of the SCIENCE WEEK 2024 event, the Museum of Saving offers the unique opportunity to experience the new Admire room, a permanent, physical and virtual exhibit, designed to bring visitors closer to the world of economics through art.

In the space there are two VR stations which, thanks to the interactive seat and a latest generation oculus, allow guests to immerse themselves in worlds and places belonging to the past and the present, to reality and imagination. The visitor can interact with various objects, until a work of art is revealed, and it comes to life.

Each animated work is accompanied by a narrative voice that contextualises it and explains the concept of economics or finance represented in it. Admiring the works of painters such as Pieter Paul Rubens, Édouard Manet, Edward Hopper, Pieter Brueghel and others, it will be possible to reflect on financial education concepts useful for consciously managing our money.
