Parents and children: facing together the challenges of our time – series of meetings with MOIGE

As part of the collaboration project between the Museum of Saving and MOIGE, on 5 November the new series of meetings dedicated to parents begins.

Abuse of technology, compulsive use of social media, gambling addiction, emotional fragility are among the main challenges that parents and children have to deal with today.
In this series of webinars we will address these issues with the aim of offering parents a useful toolkit to raise aware children, capable of developing critical thinking and autonomy, thus becoming active protagonists of their own future.

Generation Z and Work

Great Resignation, Quiet Quitting, Job Hopping are just some of the emerging phenomena that describe the approach to work of the new generations.

IV MEETING: 11 March, 6 p.m.

Social media, apps and stolen time

The massive use of digital devices, compulsive scrolling on social media, continuous exposure to screens are drastically reducing the ability to concentrate, especially among the younger generations.
Human attention is thus turning into a scarce resource, so much so that it has become a valuable commodity for companies and marketing. How can this phenomenon that negatively affects learning, psychological well-being and social relationships be curbed?

To do or not to do? How to encourage young people to turn uncertainty into an opportunity for personal growth

Adolescence is often characterised by emotional fragility and a need for support: a period of deep conflict between the desire to become autonomous and at the same time a search for approval and acceptance.
In this meeting we will talk about how to deal with uncertainty with children and adolescents, to encourage independence and confidence in their own abilities.
