SAVE TALKS – The Ambassadors of Change
On Wednesday, January 22, at 11 AM, the Museum of Saving kicks off the third edition of SAVE Talks for high school students with a special session dedicated to sustainable technology. We will explore how, even in the hi-tech sector, it is possible to make choices aligned with the principles of sustainability and the circular economy.
Technology is now an integral part of our daily lives. When used correctly, it offers great benefits, making work, study, and even health management more efficient.
However, the environmental impact of electronic devices is alarming, and e-waste is expected to rise significantly in the coming years.
We will discuss this crucial topic with:
- Giovanna Paladino, Director and Curator, Museum of Saving
- Mirko Bretto, COO, Domethics srl: Adriano: From Old Smartphones to Smart Homes and Telemedicine
- Daniela De Donno, Founder, Jane Goodall Institute Italy: Fighting Global Warming by Recycling Phones
At the end of the event, all participants will compete in a quiz: How Much Do You Know About Sustainable Technology?
For participating classes, a certificate for PCTO (Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation) or civic and environmental education is available upon request.
How to Participate
Participation is free, but registration is required by filling out the form https://bit.ly/SaveTalks_22gen by January 20.
