Series “The Adventures of For and Mica”

Webinar series for the development of active and responsible economic citizenship

Primary school students

A series of 8 online meetings led by the mascots of the Museum of Saving, For and Mica, in which children acquire basic concepts of economic citizenship through an interactive teaching approach based on edutainment. Topics include: the history and role of money, safety in first online purchases, basic notions of personal budget management, conscious use of scarce resources, and the fight against waste.

Series “Citizens of the Future”

Webinar series for the development of active and responsible economic citizenship

Middle school students

A series of 6 online meetings in which students acquire basic concepts of economic citizenship, training their critical thinking skills and learning how to make decisions in an increasingly complex world. Topics include: circular economy, human capital, security in online payments and purchases, misinformation, and awareness in consumer choices.

Basic financial education learning pathway

Primary school and middle school students

The program, organized into two different versions depending on the school level (primary or middle school), aims to provide students with basic knowledge of economic citizenship and to train their ability to make informed decisions, using critical thinking and learning to plan and think about the future. The teaching approach is laboratory-based and focused on edutainment and learning through multimedia and games.

Educational pathway on the conscious use of resources

Primary school, middle school and high school students

The program, organized into three different versions depending on the school level (primary school, middle school, high school), introduces new models of sustainable and inclusive production and consumption, with an in-depth focus on the Circular Economy, also through dedicated videos and gaming apps of the Museum of Saving.
After an interactive lesson and some in-depth activities carried out through eLearning, students engage in a real-life task, with a level of complexity differentiated according to the school level, to concretely apply the basic principles of sustainability and the circular economy.

SCHOOL-TO-WORK EDUCATION

Modular pathway of basic financial education

High school students

A training program dedicated to high school students, consisting of six educational modules and aimed at providing basic financial knowledge and skills, as well as training the soft skills most in demand in in today’s job market. The modules can be taken individually or combined according to the needs of the classes; they do not require prior knowledge and are accessible to all types of schools.

The topics covered in the six modules are as follows: “Money: origins and future”; “The major financial crises”; “Finance ABC”; “INFO-mania: navigating economic information”; “Business between innovation, ethics and sustainability”; “Thinking about the future. Protecting oneself from risks”.

A WINDOW ON THE WORLD

Webinar series to explore current economic affairs

High school students

A series of meetings designed to understand current economic affairs, consisting of six educational webinars, held monthly and lasting one and a half hours each, aimed at providing students with basic skills to approach the world of finance in a conscious way: a useful toolbox to facilitate understanding of the reality around them and to train their critical thinking.

Topics include: cognitive biases influencing economic decisions, inflation and its effects, debt dynamics, new digital currencies, and tools for understanding pension systems.
