As part of the collaboration project between the Museum of Saving and MOIGE, on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m., the third online meeting of the series “Parents and Children: Facing the Challenges of Our Time Together” will take place, entitled “Unsustainable Choices: Gambling.”

Gambling addiction, or pathological gambling, is an increasingly widespread issue, particularly among preadolescents and adolescents. To prevent it, it is necessary to raise awareness: financial education is a valuable tool that teaches how to give money its proper value and how to make rational and informed decisions.

UPCOMING MEETINGS
4th MEETING: March 11, 6:00 p.m.
Social media, apps, and stolen time
The widespread use of digital devices, compulsive scrolling on social media, and continuous screen exposure are drastically reducing the ability to concentrate, especially among younger generations.
Human attention is thus becoming a scarce resource, to the point of having become a valuable commodity for companies and marketing. How can we curb this phenomenon, which negatively affects learning, psychological well-being, and social relationships?

5th MEETING: April 15, 6:00 p.m.
To do or not to do? How to encourage young people to turn uncertainty into an opportunity for personal growth
Adolescence is often characterized by emotional fragility and a need for support: a period of deep conflict between the desire for independence and, at the same time, the search for approval and validation.
This meeting will focus on how to address uncertainty with children and adolescents in order to encourage independence and confidence in their own abilities.
