What are we talking about when we talk about “public debt”?
Why is it so important to understand how it works?
And, above all, what can we do to get rid of it?
Public budget, taxation, debt-to-GDP ratio, financial crises, maneuvers and cuts: navigating the world of public finance can seem complicated without adequate tools and knowledge.
However, it is essential to understand what they are to be aware citizens and to better understand the impacts of public spending on society and future generations.
Talking about public debt with clear and simple language is possible.
On Monday 16 September, at 5 pm, at the Museum of Saving, we will talk about it with:

- Elsa Fornero, Professor of Economics at the University of Turin and Scientific Coordinator CeRP-Collegio Carlo Alberto
- Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intesa Sanpaolo.
