The Museum of Saving is offering a series of afternoon sessions designed for older adults, with the aim of providing useful knowledge and skills to help participants manage their money more effectively, make informed decisions, and protect themselves from risks and scams.

Around the world in 450 piggy banks – September 30, 4:00 p.m.
A brief history of saving and its significance, followed by a guided tour of the Museum of Saving’s extensive piggy bank collection: approximately 1,700 pieces from 100 countries, dating back to the 1600s.
AI scams: how to protect your savings – October 29, 4:00 p.m.
In this webinar, we will explore how scammers use artificial intelligence and the risks it can pose to our finances. Through practical examples and simple tips, participants will learn how to recognize warning signs and protect their savings and personal data.
Passing the torch: succession, inheritance, and intergenerational wealth transfer – November 25, 4:00 p.m.
A session focusing on the tools available to help plan the transfer of wealth and approach succession planning with greater awareness. From the basic rules governing inheritance to the main planning tools, participants will gain the knowledge they need to make informed and responsible decisions.
Innovative payment methods – December 17, 4:00 p.m.
From contactless cards and smartwatches to QR codes and new forms of digital money, this session will introduce participants to the latest payment methods, explain how they work, provide guidance on using them safely, and explore how they are changing our relationship with money.
