On February 5, 2026, the Memorandum of Understanding “ConsEcon/Economic Awareness” was signed. In addition to the Regional School Office for Piedmont, the agreement involves the Museum of Saving, the Piedmont Region, the Turin Finance Committee – Turin Chamber of Commerce, the Bank of Italy – Regional Office of Turin, the Revenue Agency, the Ministry of Education and Merit – Regional School Office for Piedmont, the National Social Security Institute, the School of Civil Economy, and the Foundation for Financial Education and Savings.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the Museum of Saving commits to:

  • making its educational offer, both in-person and online, available to schools of all levels;
  • delivering seminars and training programs for primary, middle, and high school teachers, both in-person and online, on the topics covered by the Memorandum;
  • organizing outreach events for schools of all levels, both in-person and online, to promote financial education and economic citizenship, with particular attention to the sustainable management of resources and online safety;
  • developing initiatives that actively involve families in the process of transmitting financial education to children and young people, complementing and strengthening the activities already carried out in the classroom by teachers;
  • offering financial education pathways, in-person and/or online, dedicated to students attending CPIA (Adult Education Centres);
  • raising students’ awareness of the importance of enhancing their human capital—their primary and most important investment for personal and professional growth—and of overcoming the gender gap, which remains significant in financial education.
