Financial Education Month: Mdr Activities


As part of Financial Education Month, the Museum of Saving offers a rich program of initiatives aimed at adults and students of all school levels, all with free admission and participation. 

Tuesday, November 11 — 6:00 PM

ART & MONEY: Great Patrons Yesterday and Today — ADULTS

Take a historical walk through the world of patronage from the Renaissance to the modern era, led by art historian Giovanni Morale, Deputy Director of Gallerie d’Italia — Milan, in conversation with the Museum’s Director, Giovanna Paladino. Together they will explore intriguing stories behind famous works of art and notable collections.

FANTASTIC PIGGY BANKS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM — PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Piglets, urns, treasure chests — these are just some of the common forms of piggy banks. The mascots For and Mica will travel with Dusti, the archaeologist ant, to uncover many curiosities about the use and history of piggy banks. Because saving is child’s play! 

 

November 25 & 26 — 9:30 AM

My Place in the World — UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOLS

On the occasion of the tenth edition of Il Mio Posto nel Mondo, the Museum of Saving, in special collaboration with the Fondazione Circolo dei Lettori, Junior Achievement Italia, and media partner Tuttoscuola, aims to stimulate reflection on the extraordinary potential of artificial intelligence as a tool for personal growth and development of human capital. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to leverage this technological revolution to support their personal and professional aspirations.

Save for a Dream: Conscious Wardrobe with Giada Zappa (Jadezzzzz) — ADULTS

Giada Zappa, also known as Jadezzzzz — digital storyteller and content creator known for her ironic and authentic style — discusses fashion, consumption, and identity. The session reflects on distinguishing desire from consumption, style from waste, and intertwines ethics, aesthetics, and social media language. Registration opens on October 30.
